Jazz 88’s first ever Blues Club Caravan

Jazz 88, City College’s own award winning Jazz radio station, is hosting its first ever Blues Club Caravan, April 18 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The station has hired buses to take Blues lovers to several clubs around town. Patrons have the option of staying all night at whichever particular club they wish to, or hop on the buses, which stop at each club every 15 minutes and continue on to the next one.

Lenny “Fuzzy” Rankins can be seen at Bourré Southern Bistro. San Diego Blues legend, Tomcat Courtney can be seen at Café Bar Europa. The Derringers will be at the Handlery Hotel. The Lafayette Hotel hosts the Blue Diamond Special. Seven Grand presents The Gabriel Sundy Trio and Sue Palmer will be at Tio Leo’s Lounge. Jazz 88 on-air personalities will be on hand at each location to host the event.

Ticket prices, which covers entrance to all of the clubs, are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. For more info call 619 388 3301.
