Waterfront Park is turning Rancid on Oct. 20. The ska-influenced punk band with the mega-hit songs “Time Bomb” and “Ruby Soho” will headline at the Scallywag music and craft beer festival.

Also performing are The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Less Than Jake, Hepcat, The Interrupters and Beach Goons.

The all-ages show starts at 4 p.m.

Those over 21 can participate in the pre-concert beer festival that starts at 1 p.m., noon for VIP guests.

It will feature over 100 craft beers from many of Southern California’s finest breweries.

Attendees are going to want to uncrust their old punk clothes or get out the safety pins, DIY, and rip up something new.

It is recommended to leave the leather at home. It’s going to be a warm San Diego day with expected temperatures of 83 degrees on Saturday, but craft beer will keep festival goers cool.
