City College faculty met today, Oct. 14, with the accreditation team for an overview of the team’s final findings.
The meeting was led by Dr. Greg Chamberlain, president of Bakersfield College.
Chamberlain said the purpose of the visit was to determine whether the college was meeting its standards and achieving its goals and mission statement.
He said that he could feel a sense of pride from both staff and students and that the “student activities program seems to be very vibrant.”
Following their findings, the team will draw up an initial report to be reviewed and revised before being finalized by a board
