ASG sponsors ‘Application Jam’ for transfer hopefuls

In efforts to assist City College students interested in transferring to four-year universities Associated Student Government is sponsoring an “Application Jam” on Nov. 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in room R-301.

The event is an application forum, with its main desire to help and assist students in filling out acceptance applications, successfully and diligently.

Josef Shannon, ASG secretary, said representatives from UC San Diego and SDSU will be onsite to help the people with their applications.

The event is taking place right before the application’s deadline in order to aid students whom would have most likely missed the cut-off date.

“Anything to get better educated in general is a good idea,” Shannon said.
