Hundreds of people jammed Golden Hall in downtown San Diego on election night, waiting for results as they supported their candidates.

The hall buzzed with the electricity of all the news stations equipment and decorations. The crowd sported their colorful gear, hoisted handmade signs, and intricate hats they made themselves.

A new kind of face permeated the crowd at Election Center. Many of young adults and children watched the results along with their parents and teachers.

After the polls closed at 8 p.m., the large monitors at the end of the hall began to show the election results. People congregated around the monitors to cheer and jeer at the propositions and candidate results.
